Why Your NPSI Exists

Every public figure on Pauv has a Net Public Sentiment Index (NPSI): a live, dollar-denominated measure of their cultural relevance. The NPSI exists because public sentiment is public domain. How the world perceives a cultural figure is not owned by that figure, unlike their Name, Image, or Likeness. Pauv does not ask public figures to “agree to be listed.” Listing an NPSI is not a commercial use of identity; it is indexing the public’s reaction to it. The NPSI is a derived data product, similar to a bond rating or a credit score.
Every profile carries a clear non-endorsement disclaimer: “[Name] is not affiliated with Pauv and has not endorsed, sponsored, or authorized this NPSI listing. All imagery is copyright-free or AI-generated.”

Listing a Public Figure

Listings on Pauv are approval-gated:

Suggest a figure

Any user can suggest a public figure to be listed. Pauv reviews the suggestion and decides whether to list.
We do not list private individuals or individuals under 18. A profile is only listed once Pauv has reviewed the request.

Claim Your Profile

Every NPSI profile features a prominent “Claim Your Profile” button. When you claim your profile, Pauv confirms your identity, and from the moment your claim is approved you receive a share of the trading activity on your profile going forward. Nothing accrues before you claim.

What Claiming Is — and Is Not

Claiming your profile only determines whether you receive a share of trading activity on it going forward. It is not an endorsement, partnership, or authorization.
  • Claiming does not constitute endorsement of, affiliation with, or authorization of Pauv.
  • Claiming does not grant Pauv any rights to your Name, Image, or Likeness.
  • Claiming does not create a partnership, sponsorship, or business relationship.
  • Claiming does not give you control over the NPSI value, trading behavior, or the presentation of your profile.
The NPSI is driven entirely by trading activity on the platform. Public figures have no role in setting, managing, or supporting the value.
